Quality of life
What it does
The Quality of life package makes two small changes for a single-player server with bots: a Sprint spell for everyone, and auto-loot of money and quest items. It needs the Playerbots package.
Sprint for everyone
Every character learns Sprint when it logs in: existing characters, new ones and bots.
| Effect | Duration | Cooldown |
|---|---|---|
| Movement speed +50% | 20 seconds | 35 seconds |
Find Sprint in your spellbook and drag it to an action bar. The spell is the package's own: when you install the package, the launcher adds it to the server and builds the client patch for it from your own game files.
Your bots use it to keep up with you, out of combat:
- While you sprint, your bots on the same map sprint for the same time, so the group stays together. This echo costs the bot no cooldown.
- A bot that falls more than 25 yards behind while following casts its own Sprint to catch up, and stops it once it is within 8 yards of you again.
Auto-loot of money
When a monster that you or your group killed dies, its money goes straight into your bags; you do not need to open the corpse.
- In a group, the money is split only between the real players, never with bots. Playing alone with bots, you get all of it. Copper that does not divide evenly goes to a random player each time.
- Only the real players near the corpse share it. If none is near (a bot killed something far away), the real players of the group on that map share it.
- The same rule applies to money taken from a loot window later, whoever opens it: you, a bot, or a merged loot window of AoE loot.
Auto-loot of quest items
Quest items, and ordinary drops that an unfinished quest in your log still needs, go straight into your bags, as long as you need them. Without this, bots that loot first could take such drops.
- A quest item that drops for everyone goes to every real player who needs it.
- A drop that exists once goes to the real players who need it in turn.
- A player whose bags are full is skipped for that drop.
Everything else stays on the corpse for the normal loot window and the group's loot rules. A corpse that ends up empty loses its sparkle and can be skinned right away.

The package has no settings. To turn it off, disable the package on the launcher's Plugins page; see Installing packages.
