Instance reset

What it does

Once you kill a boss in a raid or a heroic dungeon, you are saved to that instance until the weekly or daily reset. The Instance reset package adds Cromi, an NPC who removes those saves on request, so you can go back in right away. On a server where you play alone or with bots, that means you can run your favourite raid again without waiting a week.

Place Cromi

The package adds the NPC to the database but does not place it in the world. With an account that has GM rights (see Console and commands):

  1. Install the package from the Plugins page (Installing packages) and start the server.

  2. In the game, stand where Cromi should be and type:

    .npc add 300000

.npc add temp 300000 places Cromi only until the next restart. To remove a placed NPC, select it and type .npc delete.

Reset your instances

  1. Talk to Cromi.
  2. Choose I would like to remove my instance saves.

Cromi whispers "Your instances have been reset." Your saves for every instance are gone, except the one you are standing in. By default this is free and covers all difficulties.

If Cromi asks for a price and you cannot pay it, the option does not appear; Cromi tells you what is missing instead.

Settings

In the launcher: Settings, group Instance reset under Plugins (or the gear button next to the package on the Plugins page). Every setting takes effect when you save (the .reload badge): with the world running, the launcher reloads the config for you.
